The gameplay includes puzzle elements. The player is given a territory with several stations. They need to be combined correctly, laying out the most efficient route. For example, you need to deliver building materials to the city to build a new block. The player needs to hire workers, take them to a sand quarry to collect the resource, then send them to a plant for its processing and then take the finished material to the city. The game includes a timer mode, so you need to act quickly. Train Valley 2 is tied exclusively to the mouse. A few minutes are enough to master the mechanics and get into the process. It remains only a matter of attentiveness and logic.
The game includes many features:
- campaign consisting of 50 levels;
- an extensive transport fleet of 18 types of trains;
- 45 different types of freight cars;
- map editor with a wide range of tools;
- stylish graphic low-poly execution.
As you progress through the campaign, the tasks will become more difficult. At the end of each mission, you will be assigned a rating, implemented using a 5-star system. You can always return to any task to increase your score and find more effective and non-standard solutions to the problem. The developers tried to satisfy the needs of not only train lovers, but also lovers of inventive puzzles.
