The Signal State

The Signal State combines a puzzle game and an adventure. The indie title offers gameplay that is unusual for these genres. It is built on manipulating signals through a modular synthesizer. The single-player campaign consists of 40 puzzles. You can also compete with other users for a place on the leaderboard.

The project is made in a post-apocalyptic setting. The events in The Signal State take place on an abandoned farm. The goal of the game is to restart production and save people from starvation. To fix all the electronics, you will have to figure out the routing and other aspects. Puzzles require users to use mathematics and logic.

The indie product allows you to customize the interface for yourself. You can choose from a rich palette of colors and 3 design options. The gameplay is built around dragging unique modules and special cables across the field. With their help, you need to manage incoming signals. For example: they may be asked to sum them up. To complete the task, you need to correctly arrange the components that change the properties in different ways. For example, change the value from positive to negative. And then you need to conduct a test run to understand whether everything is done correctly, and make adjustments if necessary. If the linear oscillation behaves properly, then the riddle is considered solved. As you progress, the number of different components increases.
