Zorbus

Zorbus is a turn-based fantasy roguelike where your goal is to delve deep into a dungeon and find a portal to a mythical place known as Zorbus, where a mortal can become a demigod. Players can recruit their own team of creatures so as not to wander into the dungeon alone. The creation of randomly generated levels is provided, which makes each game a little different. The permadeath system means that when a character dies, it really means they are dead and the player must start a new game. You can save the game, but loading the save file will delete it.

Zorbus takes inspiration from the Dungeons & Dragons board game of the 70s and 80s, giving it a special charm and atmosphere. This roguelike tried to create a dungeon that comes to life and is rich in various content. Here you will not find empty rooms and corridors – each level has its own theme (halls of thrones, dungeons, treasuries, etc.) and there is a good connection between them. The dungeon dwellers act intelligently: they fight each other, run away when they feel threatened, and try to recruit their friends to overcome the obstacle. Most creatures can use objects and pick them up from the ground. The creators of the game tried to ensure that the characters are not silent – they display their thoughts and comment on what is happening in conversation bubbles.
