Warhammer 40,000: Darktide – is a cooperative shooter from the first. The events unfold in the huge city of Tertium on the planet Atom Prime. It is trying to capture the cult of mad heretics Admonition. Four heroes together with the forces of the Inquisition must confront Chaos and stop the bloodthirsty horde of the living dead and save the inhabitants from extermination.

As a classic co-op shooter, the gameplay is primarily focused on shooting and killing demonic enemies with melee weapons. Players must cooperate with each other to explore locations and exterminate the horde.

The characters under your care have different equipment and skills that distinguish them on the battlefield. The variety of opponents is also impressive – from zombies resurrected from the dead to huge voracious monsters summoned with the help of magic and science. The arsenal of weapons allows you to use not only standard options, such as machine guns, shotguns and sniper rifles, but also heavy futuristic weapons, such as a plasma gun. You can also use shelters and various traps to destroy the enemy as quickly as possible and avoid losses.

The game modes were created for multiplayer (up to four people), but the creators also made it possible to play in single-player mode, in which artificial intelligence takes control of other characters. The game is created on a significantly improved proprietary engine and offers an atmospheric visual setting, maintained in dark colors corresponding to the world of Warhammer. The locations, made with attention to detail, are mesmerizing in their thoughtfulness and detail.
