Stellar Initiative plunges you headlong into a tower defense role-playing game. When you land on a new planet, your trusty orbital ship becomes your lifeline. It delivers buildings to strengthen your position, opens fire to support your defenses, and helps you adapt to whatever challenges the planet throws at you.

The missions are varied. You can explore new opportunities, extract resources, find valuable artifacts, take a defensive position, or prepare to destroy the boss. Every mission requires strategic thinking. You will need to carefully select the buildings you place, taking into account factors such as delivery time, cost, and available space. Resource management is key.

Upgrading defenses is critical to survival. Each building has its own upgrade path, allowing you to tailor them to your playstyle. Powerful artifacts can be discovered throughout the campaign, each with unique effects that can completely change your strategy. No two playthroughs of the game will be the same. There is no meta-progression in the game, so the focus is solely on solving the given problems.

The game boasts a huge amount of content. Over a hundred unique artifacts open up endless strategic possibilities. Twenty different buildings and ship abilities offer a wide range of tools for base building and combat. More than a hundred upgrade paths allow you to deeply customize the game. Missions are presented in twelve variants, complemented by a dozen different modifiers. Five difficulty settings are designed for players of all skill levels. Whether you’re a seasoned tower defense veteran or a curious newbie, the Stellar Initiative has something to offer.
