The story contains various fragments and characters from famous comics, but at the same time is an independent story. The story focuses on a thirteen-year-old girl, Joey Claire, who is transported to an alien planet when monsters attack her home. The head of What Pumpkin, Andrew Hussey, a comic book writer, describes the story as a parody of traditional adventure games. Indeed, regardless of forms and various stereotypes, the user engages in typical activities: traveling through locations, solving simple puzzles and interacting with the world and characters he encounters.
Humorous characterization is omnipresent here – even attempts to use objects pointlessly are embellished with funny commentary that goes beyond the typical «Can’t do that.» The game is prepared in episodic form and consists of 4 parts. The graphics feature a vibrant, hand-drawn graphic design that references the original comics. Smooth, attractive animation of people and animals can also attract attention – depending on the situation and the actions taken, facial expressions and the type of clothing change.
