Dread Delusion uses low-poly graphics with a low screen resolution. It is stylized in retro style. This is a role-playing game with a first-person view. The indie project is non-linear. The user periodically makes choices that affect the course of the story. Also, the gamer himself decides whether to follow the storyline or postpone progress through the story in order to freely explore the area.
You can fight enemies in close combat with blades or attack them from afar with spells. Contractions take place in real time. However, some conflicts can be resolved peacefully. There is an opportunity to improve equipment. There is a change of time of day. There are cities where you can take main or side quests, sell or buy equipment, and sleep to wait out the night. The main character is able to charm his interlocutors, study secret knowledge, and pick locks.
